Erös or Eröspista Pista (Hungarian paprika cream)

in Hungary is the common trade name for a spice paste made from pureed peppers (chilies) and salt. The term is actually a pun: Erös is "sharp", but also mean "strong, powerful"; Pista is a diminutive of the given name István (Steffan).
Eröspista used in Hungarian cuisine to flavor soups and sauces, and occasionally in place of mustard to the refining of fried meat and sausages. She often receives priority over paprika, because the taste is fruity.
Eröspista is made from seeded peppers. The unzermahlenen cores are added to mash them until after deum, in order to adjust the sharpness, so you can see from the seeds, whether Eröspista is spicy or mild.
Due to the high salinity Eröspista can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one year.
